The 56th Annual Southeast Region NAACP Civil Rights Advocacy Training Institute (CRATI) was held March 6-9, 2008, in the great city of Jackson, Miss. The Southeast Regional Conference has been one of the most outstanding events in the NAACP and this year’s conference was just as AWESOME!

This year’s conference provided attendees with the necessary tools and guidance needed to move our Region to the next level. Participates received specialized training, participated in special events and heard and met motivational speakers who left them inspired, motivated, fired up and ready to go back to your units to move the NAACP and Region V to the next level of excellence. With the closure of the Region V Office, we need to have the most equipped troops on the ground carrying out the NAACP’s work in every community.
